GO2 Heating Solutions are now proudly adding LPG heating to our list of services we can provide to our customers.
We have chosen to start offering these services as we recognise there are a lot of villages and rural houses within our Cheshire and Shropshire catchment area, especially surrounding our hometown of Northwich.
What is LPG?
LPG stands for Liquid Petroleum Gas - This type of heating system is usually found in more rural areas, being mainly used for homes not connected to mains gas. You will also often find this type of heating in caravan parks.
If the LPG is running just small appliances or a small home, then these red canisters (pictured) are usually preferred due to their size and you can purchase replacements quite easily from a local registered supplier.
However if you are planing to run an entire heating system for a larger house, you can opt to have a bulk storage tank installed. This is great if you have the outside space to store the tank in.
To run your central heating system using LPG, you will need to have a boiler installed that is designed to work with this type of fuel. Some gas boilers can be converted to work with LPG, but you should always contact a qualified heating engineer to assess your boiler properly.
As part of the services GO2 Heating Solutions are now providing for LPG heating, we can assess your current heating system for compatibility and advise you on the next steps needed to convert to LPG.
Just like gas and oil boilers, it's important to keep up to date with annual services for your LPG boilers and appliances.
