We ventured slightly out of our usual areas this week the small village of Loggerheads, on the outskirts of Shropshire, just tucked away inside the border of Staffordshire.
The customer contacted us regarding their oil boiler, with which they'd noticed a leakage.
We took a good look at the problem and quickly realised it was leaking from the heat exchanger, which unfortunately for this customer is a non-exchangeable part as Worcester no longer make the component required.
Looking for an efficient replacement, we recommended the Worcester Greenstar Danesmoor Utility oil boiler due to strong reviews of quality and reliability within our trade.
After speaking with the customer, our steps were to adapt the current heating system to run a multi-zone system.
To fit the multi-zone heating thermostat, we needed to do a bit of wiring to connect their new boiler.
By doing this, the customer is now able to control heating in individual 'zones' of their home, meaning they can run the new heating system as efficiently as possible, only having rooms heated that they need.
